The Rotary Club of Pacific Grove meets every Tuesday at Spanish Bay from 12:15 to 1:30 pm. Our weekly lunch meetings consist of good humor, fun, socializing, and enlightenment. We are honored to have fabulous guest speakers each week who give presentations on a variety of interesting topics. As a service club, we pool the talents and energy of our diverse membership to support projects for the betterment of both local and international communities.
PG Rotary provided both the labor and the funding to dramatically refurbish the Performing Arts Center at Pacific Grove Middle School. We renovated the Little House in Jewell Park. We also coordinated with the other Peninsula Rotary clubs to raise money for the Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula “Save Our Breakfast” campaign.
We also support ROTACARE, which one of our most venerable members, Pam Norton, spearheaded and still operates.
In order to support these many wonderful service projects, we rely upon the generosity of our members as well as fundraisers throughout the year. We partner with the Pacific Grove Youth Action, Inc. to support the annual Pacific Grove Auto Rally as well as run and host the annual Beer and Wine Garden at the Good Old Days. Both events generate substantial funding for our club. We also plan other fundraisers throughout the year.
