Serving the Community Since 1948

As part of Rotary International, an organization of service clubs comprised of 1.2 million members worldwide from over 150 countries, we also support many national and international service projects helping to spread goodwill and better friendship throughout the world.

We invite and encourage you to explore the many facets of the Rotary Club of Pacific Grove highlighted on this website. We meet on Tuesdays at Spanish Bay from 12:15 pm to 1:30 pm. Each week, our club is treated to a new keynote speaker which helps us learn more about the community and the world as a whole. The weekly meetings are also an opportunity for members to network and get to know each other.

Pacific Grove

We regularly sponsor an INTERACT Club at PG High School which allows students to organize and engage in their own community service programs. We also provide annual scholarships to PG High School students, sponsor “Job Shadow Day” by allowing students to spend a half day with a Rotary member in the work force, provide support staff for the annual PG High School track meet, provide judges for PG High School’s student senior projects, and send PG High School students to Camp Royal where they learn about leadership. We also donate dictionaries to third graders at Forest Grove and Robert Down elementary schools.

Supporting Community

In addition to supporting PG schools, we also support other community service endeavors. We refurbished the Performing Arts Center at Pacific Grove Middle School, refurbished the gazebo in Jewell Park, organize the Good Old Days parade, and organize and staff the annual Pacific Grove Rotary Concours Auto Rally held annually on the Friday before the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

In 2010-2011 our Club along with a grant from the City of PG completed a total remodel of the Little House in Jewell Park. It was first built in the 1950’s by our Club and it is for the use of our citizens to hold meetings and gatherings. The remodeled building now has a handicap bathroom, raised roof, dual pane windows, new stucco and is virtually all new.
