In 2009, PG Rotarians noticed that the gazebo in Jewell Park, Pacific Grove, was in need of restoration. The club organized volunteers with the help of PG Rotarian / contractor Steve Covell and the PG Kiwanis Club. The volunteer group fixed the roof, replaced damaged wooden trim pieces, replaced the electrical wiring, and applied a fresh coat of paint. With these improvements, PG residents and visitors will be able to enjoy the gazebo for generations to come.
